There isn't much written about this particular wine, other than this intruguing note from Decanter about the 1982 vintage in general: "A cracking year with truly excellent wines. Though not, perhaps, in the same league as the 1994 or the 1964, nearly everybody made good wine this year, perhaps most notably El Coto, Faustino, Salceda, and Montecillo who all made copious amounts of Gran Reserva"
