Vintage 1950s Mini Marcasite Scottie Dog LOVE The cross has a hallmarkVintage 1950s mini Scottie dog brooch. The brooch features marcasite gemstones set into a mini Scottie dog and a little red gemstone for the eye. Marcasite is actually Pyrite all known as Fools Gold. It was used in jewellery due to it's ability to catch the light, giving a diamond effect. The brooch is in excellent condition, measuring 2cm in length and 2cm in height.
