We built it around a massive, 83mm burr set sourced from Mazzer, applied our own unique secondary processes to partially season and make them suitable for hand grinding, and then sealed in the edge with a life prolonging and completely food safe TiN coating. While we no longer produce the HG 1, those same burrs, along with years of additional refinements,
