It is a "Biergarten" Scene and all figures including the beer drinker are hand carved and hand painted. In the back are 2 musicians. On the hour, the cuckoo calls, the mill wheel moves and the beer drinker holds his beer glass up and down. The cuckoo bird is carved, the dial, numerals are all also made out of wood.
