Apulia Mother Earth Stationary about one-third of the region'sOriginal Watercolor APULIA is a watercolor from my Bella Terra series about the beauty of the Italian landscape and how it is being affected by climate change. Apulia honors the ancient olive trees lost in the Apulia (Puglia) region of Italy. The extremely hot temperatures due to climate change exacerbate the spread of the bacteria known as Xylella fastidiosa which has killed over 21 million olive trees in Apulia, about one third of the region's olive
