Hanami 2022 Magnums and Torch is Yuchen's takeHanami, the Japanese word for sitting beneath the cherry blossom, is exactly the right name for this wine: Cabernet Franc from Domaine Bobinet's younger vines, made for pleasure and drunk young. Sbastien Bobinet and meline Calvez farm biodynamically on the tuffeau of Saumur, and this is their most joyful expression of the grape, light, floral and immediate. Crunchy red cherry and raspberry, a whisper of violets, soft tannins and a fresh acid lift.
